An opportunity has arisen for an Insulation Inspector Supervisor based at our head office in Rainford.

Main Duties of the post

• Liaise with management at all levels of the business, report to Depot Manager
• Surveying plots/properties, new build & retrofit
• Closing out customer care complaints, new-build & retrofit
• To supervise other inspectors / surveyors, arranging appointments efficiently, be a team leader with additional responsibilities.
• Assist with yard duties as required, be a key holder.
• Attending meetings in-house & external

Person Specification

• Good general education background,
• Experience of Cavity Wall and/or Loft Insulation Installing
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Be willing to learn.
• Be self-motivated and determined to achieve targets
• Ability to manage / supervise others
• Enjoy meeting people, but can work on an independent basis
• A minimum of 3 years working within the Thermal insulation industry

A Good understanding of buildings New & existing, knowledge of construction property development and building structures would be desirable also recent knowledge of Health and safety policies and procedures.

Reporting to the Depot Manager, you will be responsible for organising inspectors/surveyor’s diaries, closing customer care issues for New Build & Domestic properties, completing on site SHE & Quality inspections of commercial new build and retrofit installs for cavity wall and loft insulation. Prequalifying plots/properties for suitability.

Assisting/supervising installations, checking installer equipment, assisting with yard duties.
Use PC to update calendars and complete administration work.
Company van included for work use
40 hours per week, plus overtime to suit the needs of the business Over 6 days – 7am-6pm
Holidays – 28 days including bank holidays
